About this Death Cafe
Having seen a lot of death and dying during my life. One thing that always bothered me is the number of people who died alone. Hence the reason for working with Hospice but am amazed at the number of people of "faith" and "no faith" that are afraid of death.
I have come to grips with my death years ago and don't even think about it. I get on with living ever day as if it was my last and enjoy it every day.
About Dale Martel
Joined the RCMP in 1965 at the age of 19 and served for 25 years until 1990 when I retired. Started one of the first ISP's in the Province, helped other people with marketing and startups. I have always loved projects and marketing. Volunteer as a Hospice worker in Campbell River and work for the coroner service when needed.
