About this Death Cafe
Our cafes' are free, open to everyone. We have no sponsors altough we have been mentioned twice in our local media. we can be found on facebook at indian river county death cafe. Participants are interesting and contribute extensively to the conversation. We have developed a reading list and also provide literature for our guests. We hope you will attend and join us. Thank You.

We are a core group of four hosts. As a team, we initiated our first Death Cafe' in July 2013. We provide two cafes' per month, one in the northern part of the county on Monday evenings, and one in the southern part of the county on Monday mornings. Our group includes two professional nurses, a thanatologist and a business owner. Each of us brings a special twist to the conversation. The role of facilitator is alternated for variety and availability. As the groups expand and evolve, fascination continues. Nothing is off the table. The environment is espectful and welcoming.
