About this Death Cafe
The first Padre Island Deat Cafe is an opportunity for all walks of life to sit and discuss the iinevitable ending for all of us. "Death" We are encouraging anyone to come and share in a respectful group discussion and gathering to break the taboo that surrounds the end to all of our lives.
In the process we seek to enhance the experience of life by accepting and understanding our end.
Cake and assorted treats will be served.
We have no sponsors or outside obligations. We seek only to encourage the discussion and understanding of death to improve life!
We can only accomodate a total of 15 people for our first session. The first to RSVP will reserve a spot.
About Karen Hancock
Karen and David Hancock are both counselors in the Corpus Christi area. Both are accomplished professionals and athletes always seeking for ways to improve quality of life and the enjoyent of the human experience. The Hancock's have two sons and are active in various youth organizations in the Texas Coastal Bend.
They enjoy vacationing as a family, physical outdoor activities and living every moment of life with appreciation!
