Hosted at the wonderful Tallet in Calsmden, Gloucestershire, we offer a beautiful, warm and homely setting to relax into conversations about death.

We will be providing delicious cake with a death theme!

About Emily Shepherd & the Owl Barn Residents

The Owl Barn Residency is a space for artists, makers and thinkers in Gloucestershire to devlope creative practices, engage with the community and be in touch with the land.

Current residents are Emily Shepherd (artist), Johanna Sailer (writer & philosopher), April Wernham (inventor), Peter Kirk (music producer) & Amy Jane Adams (artist).

Shepherd, ususally based in Glasgow has a keen interest in collaborative, particpatory artworks that offer platforms for dispersive engagement and conversation.
