About this Death Cafe
Surrey Hills Death Cafe - become more at ease, open, aware; and to connect with others around dying and death.

A light hearted, event where people from all walks of life gather together in small moderated groups, enjoy good food and talk about anything on dying and death; sharing experiences, stories, ponderings, questions.

Death is a topic we mostly don’t talk about - making it difficult to accept the inevitability of our own mortality and to support friends, and loved ones facing life threatening illness.
People of all ages come to death cafe, young people, older people and baby boomers who stood up for social change in the past; as many care for dying parents, they are pondering dying and how they might approach the finality of their own lives aligned to their values and beliefs.
