About this Death Cafe

Our Death Cafe is part of a series of community events our hospital, Calvary Hobart, is running in July as part of "Cavlary's Dying to Talk About It: Community Events about Death and Dying".

This event/activity has been funded by the Australian Government’s Better Access to Palliative Care in Tasmania Programme, through the Tasmanian Association for Hospice and Palliative Care ‘Networking End of Life Care’ Project

 

 

 


About Molly Carlile

 

In her role as "Deathtalker", Molly regularly speaks about death and grief issues in the community, in the media and in the health and education sectors, appearing on both television and national radio. She is Ambassador for "Dying to Know Day" a national day of action launched in 2013 and occurring on August 8th each year, that encourages communities to be empowered to have meaningful conversations about life, death and grief.
