About this Death Cafe

The reason why I wanted to become a part of the Death Cafe movement is because I feel happy in offering a safe and comfortable space for people to talk about death. I also feel that is healthy to talk about death - the one thing we know for sure it will come to us all. Contemplating my own mortality made me appreciate life more and helped me put things into perspective, giving me the opportunity to see and appreciate the bigger picture when it comes to us all mortals. Having participated in a number of Death Cafes before deciding to organize one, I enjoyed the openness with which everyone is invited to speak their mind and share whatever it's in their hearts, because, at the end of the day, no one is an expert when it comes to death, especially our own death.

Everyone that resonates with this type of gathering is welcome to participate. If you feel like you have a lot to share on the topic of death, or if you have questions that other mortals just like you might have an answer to or if you just feel like coming along to observe and watch such a meeting, you are very much welcomed. You can decide to join us or not whenever you feel ready to do so, however it would be useful if you could let me know in advance through the contact form of your participation. But any last minute or drop in participants are also welcome.
