About this Death Cafe

Candy has good links with COOK - the frozen food chain. Thus, the cakes we bring are all insanely delish. All refreshments are free. Very excited about this cafe as it means I can break out the mince pies. 

About Candy Penfold

Candy is an end of life doula (in training!) and has worked within healthcare for over a decade, and worked with the dying for many years. 

Natasha is currently completing an end of life course to complement the vast amount of works she does in various Medway Communities, to help support people facing death or bereavement. 

Together we are founding members of the Brown Bread Collective - a group of people in Medway all working to end the taboos around talking about Death and Dying.
